PICKUP DRIVER CHARGED AFTER COLLISION WITH BIKER ON HWY. 118

BRACEBRIDGE — A truck driver has been charged after a collision with a motorcycle rider here Saturday morning.

Police say that on May 13, at 9:50 a.m., they responded to a collision between the injured motorcyclist and the other driver on Highway 118 near Ashley Lane in Bracebridge.

The biker, a 37-year-old from Bracebridge, was transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police charged the pickup operator, a 50-year-old Bracebridge resident, under the Provincial Offences Act. Police didn’t say who or what charge he faces.

The biker was taken to hospial after Saturday morning’s collision on Hwy. 118 in Bracebridge.
