PROHIBITED DRIVER PASSED OUT AT PUMPS, BRACEBRIDGE MAN FACES DOUBLE TROUBLE

BRACEBRIDGE — A prohibited driver passed out at the gas pumps faces two charges including impaired driving by alcohol yesterday.

Police said this morning that Sunday afternoon, Nov. 13, at 2:35 p.m. officers were dispatched to attend gas pumps on Wellington Street in Bracebridge.

They say a member of the public pulled up to the gas station and noticed another motorist passed out at the wheel of a car.

Officers responded, arresting and charging 56-year-old Gavin Morrison, of Bracebridge, with Operation While Impaired-Over 80 CC 320.14(1)(b) and Operation While Prohibited CC 320.18(1)(a).

Morrison is to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Bracebridge Dec. 6, 2022.

A Bracebridge man will be on court Dec. 6 facing two charges after police found him passed out at gas pumps on Wellington Street Sunday afternoon.
