FOURTH PERSON CHARGED IN DOWNTOWN GRAVENHURST BUSINESS BREAK AND ENTERS

GRAVENHURST  — A growing investigation into multiple business B&Es here has led to a fourth Gravenhurst person being charged.

Police says officers investigating multiple break and enters to businesses in the downtown last month and this has already led to three people being charged.

Two days ago, Nov. 16, the OPP arrested and charged a fourth person, 33-year-old Randy Shanks. of Gravenhurst, with Break and Enter CC 348(1)(b) X 2.

Shanks is to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Bracebridge on Dec. 6, 2022 to answer to his charges.

Anyone who may have witnessed the incidents or may have seen suspicious activity in the area is asked to contact the Bracebridge OPP at 1-888-310-1122 to assist in these investigations.
