THREE PEOPLE TAKEN TO HOSPITAL AFTER CRASH ON HWY. 60 WEST IN HUNTSVILLE

HUNTSVILLE Police are still investigating a serious motor vehicle collision Friday.

They say that on May 6, at 5:30 p.m., officers got a 911 call about a head-on crash on Hwy. 60 westbound near Harp Lake.

The collision involved two SUVs.

The highway was closed in both directions as OPP Technical Collision Investigators and Reconstructionist completed their on scene investigation.

Three persons, including a 66-year-old woman driver, a 49-year-old male driver and his passenger, a 45-year-old woman, were transported by Muskoka Paramedic Services to Huntsville’s hospital.

The woman driving was later taken by Ornge air ambulance to a Toronto area hospital for treatment of serious injuries.

The investigation into the cause of the collision is still ongoing and further information will be released when it becomes available.
