GRAVENHURST PAIR CHARGED WITH TRAFFICKING

GRAVENHURST — Two residents here were in bail court in Bracebridge this morning after being arrested early Saturday on drug-trafficking charges.

The OPP say officers were on foot patrol on First Street May 23 when they noticed suspicious activity in an area where they’ve had reports from the public about drug activity.

Police found two people they say were trying to avoid detection.

Tammy Buker, 37, is charged with Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purposes of Trafficking (cocaine) CDSA5(2) and Failure to Comply with Undertaking CC145(4)(a) X 2.

She was held in custody to appear for a bail hearing on May 25, 2020.

Charged with her was Mark Cloutier, 47. He was arrested for Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purposes of Trafficking (cocaine) CDSA5(2) and Failure to Comply with Undertaking CC145(4)(a).

He, too, was also held in custody to will appear for a bail hearing on May 25, 2020.

Police charged two Gravenhurst residents Saturday with cocaine-trafficking.
