FIRE DANGER HIGH, MUSKOKA CHIEFS SAY

MUSKOKA — Due to drying conditions in the area, the Muskoka Asssociation of Fire Chiefs has raised the fire danger rating to high.

Residents and visitors are asked to please follow the guidelines.

With the rating set to hight, everyone is encouraged to use caution when burning and to do so only if absolutely necessary.

A provincial fire ban was lifted last week for the the Victoria Day long weekend.

Today, May 20, Muskoka fire chiefs have raised the danger rate to high.
