YOUNG TRICK-OR-TREATER STRUCK BY VEHICLE IN WARTIME HOUSES

GRAVENHURST — A young Halloween participant was struck by a vehicle while trick-or-treating here in one of the most popular neighbourhoods for shelling out.

Provincial police says six-year-old was struck on Fernwood Drive, in the Wartime Houses area, about 6 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 31 near sunset.

The child was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
