ARMED ROBBER GETS AWAY WITH BANK CASH IN PORT CARLING

PORT CARLING — An armed robber who looked like a hold-over from Halloween is being sought in main street bank heist here Friday.

Provincial police are the robbery at the Scotiabank on Maple Street in Port Carling Nov. 1.

They say a man entered the bank just after 4 p.m. and produced a weapon, demanding cash, say the OPP.

He made off with an unknown amount of money and was last seen running north from the bank.

He is described as being Caucasian, approximately 5-foot-9 and was wearing a grey hoody and grey sweatpants with the words “LOVE PINK” on the rear.

He was wearing black glasses and had a black bandana over his face and red and black sneakers.

Police are investigating and ask that if any member of the public sees this person to not approach and call police.
