GRAVENHURST — They’re at the post — Sept. 14.

Rotarians in Gravenhurst have a fun and fascinating fundraiser that Saturday night at the Gravenhurst Centennial Centre.

Rotary Charity Race night is a chance to help local and international Rotary causes.

And an opportunity to dig out your riding crop and favourite fascinator.

Race fans are encouraged to wear their favourite Kentucky Derby hat. There may even be a prize for the best one.

The night of racing is one we bet you can’t lose on.

Host Nick Jones, a TV personality and Olympian, will be calling the nine races from the past with fun, fictious new names for the entries.

So no one can Google the winners in advance.

Bets are $5 per race.

Join the fun.

Tickets are $25 and it includes horse d’ouvres, a bar trough and more.

Buy them at the Scotiabank in Gravenhurst, or call 705-323-6393 or 705-238-8105.

Or ask any Rotarian.

Get out your riding crops and silks and throw on a fascinator large or small and join the fun Saturday Sept. 14 at the Centennial Centre.
