GULL LAKE BEACH RE-OPENS; SPLASH PAD BACK MID-AUGUST

GRAVENHURST — With another heat wave, swimmers can return to the water at Gull Lake.

The swim advisory issued for Gull Lake Rotary Park Beach on Tuesday July 16, has now been lifted effective Thursday, July 18.

The Town in partnership with the Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit will continue to monitor all municipal beaches and water quality and advise the public should there be any further concerns.

Meanwhile, after much complaint timing of repairs, the town says the splash pad at the Muskoka Wharf is scheduled to re-open in a month if re-construction is on time.

Gull Lake Rotary Park is safe for full head-on swimming as of July 18.
