PAIR CHARGED AGAIN IN HUNTSVILLE TWO DAYS AFTER SIMILAR CHARGES
HUNTSVILLE — Two Huntsville residents charged Feb. 1 — and ordered not to associate — were arrested again Feb. 3 charged with their second drug offences after a police chase Wednesday.
Police say that on Feb. 3 the OPP’s Muskoka Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU) spotted the pair travelling in a vehicle together contrary to conditions of their release. With the assistance of the Huntsville OPP, officers stopped the vehicle after a brief pursuit.
The two were arrested for failing to comply with their undertaking and upon a search at the OPP detachment cocaine, marijuana, and cash were found.
Charged are:
Dwayne Gagnon, 41:
- Possession of a Schedule 1 Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking S. 5(2) CDSA
- Fail to Comply with Probation S. 733.1(1) CCC
- Fail to Comply with Undertaking S. 145(4)(a) CCC
- Possession of Cannabis for the Purpose of Selling S. 10(2) CA
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5000 S. 354(1)(a) CCC
And Kearsten Lumley, 27:
- Possession of a Schedule 1 Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking S. 5(2) CDSA
- Fail to Comply with Probation S. 733.1(1) CCC
- Fail to Comply with Undertaking S. 145(4)(a) CCC
- Possession of Cannabis for the Purpose of Selling S. 10(2) CA
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5000 S. 354(1)(a) CCC
- Flight from Peace Officer S. 320.17 CCC
Gagnon and Lumley were held in custody for a bail hearing yesterday, Feb. 4, 2021, at the Ontario Court of Justice in Bracebridge.
