GRAVENHURST — The last time Ross Woolridge was in town he was backing up “Jack Hutton and Friends” — for the amazing Bala pianist’s always popular ragtime concert.

Friday “Canada’s greatest jazz clarinettist” (according to Jack) is back at the Opera House here leading his 10-piece band for “Being Frank.”

That’s Christopher Plock’s tribute to the “Chairman of the Board” Frank Sinatra.

The most swingable singer male singer there ever was; next to Ella Fitzgerald the most swingable female singer there ever was.

Sinatra was the crooner of note before Canada’s Michael Bublé was born.

Together Plock (saxophonist/percussionist) and Woolridge sing and play all the iconic cover band music of the Hoboken, N.J., native.

“I’ve Got You Under My Skin”, “My Way”, “Fly Me to the Moon”, “That’s Life”, “Summer Wind”, “Chicago”, “New York, New York” and so many more you’ll love and swing and sway to.
