MONDAY AFTERNOON COMPLAINT LEADS TO IMPAIRED DRIVING CHARGE IN GRAVENHURST

GRAVENHURST — A public complaint has led to impaired driving charges against a Gravenhurst man Monday.

Police say that on June 15, at 2:35 p.m., officers responded to a location on Lofty Pines Drive in Gravenhurst.

Where they located the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop, subsequently arresting and charging 49-year-old Darrell Matchett, of Gravenhurst, with Operation while Impaired – drug/alcohol.

Matchett is to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Bracebridge, on July 7, 2026.

Police were called to Lofty Pines Drive in Gravenhurst yesterday afternoon following concerns about a possble impaired driver.
