TWO DRIVERS CHARGED WITH IMPAIRED OPERTATION IN SEPARATE INCIDENTS IN HUNTSVILLE THIS WEEK

HUNTSVILLE — Two people are facing impaired driving charges following separate incidents investigated by police in Huntsville over the past week, including the latest one early yesterday morning.

Police say unrelated investigations led to alcohol-impaired driving charges against Bracebridge and Sundridge residents.

Yesterday police responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle on Ceramic Mine Road shortly after midnight Tuesday, May 12.

Officers arrived at approximately 12:20 a.m. and located the vehicle.

Following an investigation, a 29-year-old Bracebridge woman, was charged with operation while impaired by alcohol and operation while impaired with a blood alcohol concentration exceeding the legal limit.

She was released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Bracebridge on June 30, 2026.

The charges come days after another impaired driving investigation in Huntsville.

On Friday, May 8, police were dispatched to a report of a disturbance involving a motor vehicle on Ravenscliffe Road at approximately 3:20 p.m.

Officers called to the scene determined the driver may have been impaired by alcohol.

As a result of the investigation, Keitney Rolston, 34, of Sundridge, too was charged with operation while impaired by alcohol and operation while impaired with a blood alcohol concentration exceeding the legal limit.

Rolston was released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Bracebridge on June 2, 2026.

Police charged the two drivers in separate impaired driving investigtations yesterday and last Friday in Huntsville.
