ATV ACCIDENT LANDS TWO PEOPLE IN HOSPITAL SATURDAY AFTERNOON IN VANKOUGHNET

BRACEBRIDGE — Two people are in hospital after rolling an ATV on a private property trail Saturday afternoon in Vankoughnet.

The 30-year-old driver from Bracebridge was airlifted to a trauma centre with non-life-threatening injuries and a 37-year-old passenger was taken to a MAHC hospital with minor injuries.

Police say that at 4:30 p.m. May 13 they responded to the single-vehicle accident on Chrysler Road in east Bracebridge.

The road, in east Bracebridge, runs west near Peterson’s Falls and St. David’s Presbyterian Church.

The pair lost control and left the trail, rolling it over in the process.

The pair were riding on a private trail in Vankoughnet on Chrysler Road, bottom centre, May 13 at around 4:30 p.m.
