SNOWMOBILER HITS TREE SATURDAY, AIRLIFTED TO TORONTO-AREA TRAUMA CENTRE

BAYSVILLE — A Burlington man is in a Toronto hospital with serious injuries after his snowmobile hit a tree yesterday afternoon.

Emergency services were called to Lake of Bays Township Saturday, Feb. 25 at 2:45 p.m., after calls about the single snowmobile collision on Ontario Federation of Snowmobile Clubs (OFSC) Trail D102B near Muskoka Road 117, south of Baysville.

The 43-year-old driver was transported to a hospital and airlifted to a Toronto-area trauma centre with serious injuries.
