GRAVENHURST MAN IDENTIFIED AS VICTIM OF FATAL AUTO ACCIDENT MONDAY

BRACEBRIDGE — Police have identified the driver who died in a collision here yesterday afternoon.

They say Lawrence Tomblin, of Gravenhurst, died Monday after emergency crews were called to a two-vehicle collision on Winhara Road at Ecclestone Drive in Bracebridge Jan. 17 at 1:40 pm.

Tomblin, 77, was transported to hospital, however life saving efforts were unsuccessful.

The roadway was closed to traffic for a period of time and the investigation is ongoing with the assistance of the OPP Traffic Incident Management and Enforcement (TIME) team.
