GRAVENHURST FIREWORKS HIT HIGH NOTE AT MIDWAY POINT IN SUMMER SEASON

GRAVENHURST — Summer hit its halfway point tonight with a fiery display here at the Muskoka Wharf on the Civic Holiday Weekend.

A 10-minute burst of rainbow colours lit up the night sky over Gravenhurst Bay at sunset, as fireworks crackled across the calmness of the water before landing with a resounding boom on the shoreline dotted with hundreds of gleeful gazers who “oohed” and “awed” and applauded loudly in appreciation at their end.

The night never looked better than during a star burst from 9:35 to 9:45 tonight at the Muskoka Wharf.
Coloured lights did hypnotize and sparkle everyone’s eyes this Civic Holiday long weekend.
Light the night fantastic. The view off the end of the town dock was an impressive sight perched on the edge of the for the 10-minute performance.
Ship ahoy! The Segwun was lit up like a candle Saturday night just as the sun set.
