PORT CARLING WOMAN CHARGED WITH IMPAIRED DRIVING LAST NIGHT

PORT CARLING — Police say a driver operating a vehicle in an “unsafe manner” was pulled over for an inspection last night.

They say that on Thursday March 3, at 7 p.m., an officer from the Bracebridge OPP detachment was conducting general patrol in the town of Port Carling when they observed a vehicle travelling on Medora Street in an “unsafe manner.”

After a traffic stop and investigation police arrested and charged 53-year-old Corrine Bauer, of Port Carling, with Operation While Impaired CC 320.14(1)(a), and Over 80 CC 320.14(1)(b).

Bauer is to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Bracebridge March 22, 2022.

Bauer’s driver’s licence was automatically suspended for 90 days and the vehicle impounded.
