TRANSPORT AND SUV WITH CAMPER COLLIDE ON HWY. 400 NEAR WAHTA THIS AFTERNOON

GEORGIAN BAY TWP. — An afternoon accident today resulted in a person being taken to hospital after a transport and an SUV with a camper collided on Hwy. 400.

Provincial police from Bracebridge and Muskoka EMS responded to a two-vehicle collision involving a tractor trailer and an SUV hauling a camper southbound near Iroquois Cranberry Growers Road at 3:30 p.m. today.

That’s west of Bala and south of Parry Sound.

They say one person suffered serious injuries and was taken to hospital by paramedics.

One southbound lane is closed as officers continue their investigation.
