ONTARIO NORTHLAND RESUMES HOSPITAL STOPS TODAY IN TORONTO

MUSKOKA — While the return of the Northlander train may be years away, starting today Ontario Northland is making stops at the Union Station Bus Terminal and King City Go Station for travellers to Toronto.

That’s in addition to several stops at top hospitals in province’s capital city and heath hub.

As Ontario re-opens, they are resuming all regular scheduled bus routes — and adding the two new stops for easier connections to rail, TTC buses and subways and other regional transit.

The King City Go station stop and a Union Station Bus terminal stops complements the existing stops in Toronto, which include direct stops at Mount Sinai Hospital, Princess Margaret Hospital, Toronto General Hospital and the Hospital for Sick Children as well as Highway 407 Terminal (Vaughan) and Yorkdale.

As of last night at 11:30 p.m. they will no longer be stopping at the Toronto Coach Terminal on Bay Street, which is closing.
Trip 799 to North Bay was the last departure at the historic downtown bus station.

It travelled through Muskoka after midnight today.

As of today, July 4, Ontario Northland buses that pass through Gravenhurst and Muskoka will stop at Union Station in Toronto now that the historic Bay Street Terminal is closing. The buses also stop at several of the capital city’s top hospitals in the provincial health hub.
