CUSTOMER COMPLAINT LEADS TO DRUG CHARGES IN HUNTSVILLE

HUNTSVILLE An “unwanted” customer yesterday led to an impaired woman being charged with opioid possession.

Police were called to a business on Hanes Road Sunday Nov. 15, where officers found a “highly intoxicated” female in the parking lot of Circle K convenience store.

Dayna Lewis was arrested and an investigation resulted in the the seizure of suspected fentanyl.

The 30-year-old Huntsville woman was charged with possession of schedule I substance- opioid contrary to section 4(1) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.

Lewis was released to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice, Huntsville, Dec. 16, 2020.
