COVID CONFINED TO SIMCOE NOT MUSKOKA TODAY

MUSKOKA — No news is good news if you live in Muskoka today.

But if you’re in the health unit’s Simcoe reporting area, there’s a report of 17 people being tested with COVID-19.

That’s down from 43 over the weekend, says the Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit for Oct. 20.

They also report their 47th death in a summary that sees 1,181 in total now.

There are 130 active cases and 999 have recovered.

Tuesday’s numbers are among 821 cases this Tuesday in Ontario and 877 in Quebec.
