MOOSE DEER POINT MAN CHARGED WITH SEX ASSAULT

MOOSE DEER POINT — A man accused of unlawfully being in a woman’s house faces sexual assault charges.

Provincial police say that on Aug. 30 officers from the Bracebride OPP detachment were dispatched to Moose Deer Point First Nation regarding an allegation of a man entering her home and assaulting her.

After an OPP investigation, they arrested and charged 35-year-old Joshua Isaac, of Moose Deer Point First Nation with:

Sexual Assault CC 271;

And Unlawfully Being in a Dwelling House CC 349(1).

Isaac is to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Bracebridge, Nov. 10, 2020, to answer to his charges.

Moose Deer Point is south of Parry Sound and west of MacTier.

A 35-year-old man has been charged with sexual assault on a fellow resident of the Deer Point First Nation west of MacTier and south of Parry Sound.
