DISTURBANCE LEADS TO IMPAIRED DRIVING CHARGE

GRAVENHURST — A Bracebridge woman faces impaired driving charges after disturbance on First Street here Saturday night.

Provincial police say that on June 27, at 8:40 p.m., officers responded to a 9-1-1 call.

When they arrived they found one of the involved people in their vehicle.

Police say that after a conversation, it was determined that alcohol was a factor and they  arrested and charged 35-year-old Sharlaine Fawthrop with Impaired Operation (Over 80) CC 320.14(1)(b).

She is to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Bracebridge on September 1, 2020.
