HUNTSVILLE COUPLE IN HOSPITAL TODAY AFTER HWY. 11 CRASH

HUNTSVILLE A man and woman from Huntsville are in hospital this morning after a southbound collision of their car and a transport on Hwy. 11.

Provincial police say that on Thursday, May 7, at 9:40 a.m. Huntsville OPP, Huntsville Lake of Bays Fire Department and Muskoka Paramedics Services responded to the collision at the Lindgren Road intersection.

Police say the driver and passenger of the car were injured as a result of the collision.

The 65-year-old male was transported to Huntsville District Memorial Hospital with none life threatening injures.

And the 70-year-old woman was flown to St. Michael’s Hospital in Toronto with serious, but not life threatening injuries.

Officers from Huntsville and OPP Central Region Technical Traffic Collision Investigators are continuing the investigation and they say further details will be provided as the investigation proceeds.
