GRAVENHURST MAN ‘PASSED OUT’ IN VEHICLE CHARGED

BRACEBRIDGE — A Gravenhurst man reportedly “passed out” in his vehicle Tuesday faces a charge of operation of vehicle while drug-impaired.

Provincial police say that on May 5, at 8 p.m., they received a report of a man who appeared to be passed out in the driver’s seat of a vehicle in a parking lot in Bracebridge.

Officers arrived and conducted an investigation into the circumstances and arrested and charged 64-year-old Bogdan Jakubasz with Impaired Operation by Drug CC 320.14(1)(a).

He is to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Bracebridge on July 14, 2020 to answer to his charge and his driver’s licence has been suspended for 90 days.

Police have charged Bogdan Jakubasz, 64, of Gravenhust after he was reportedly passed out in his vehicle.
