BRACEBRIDGE TEEN CHARGED WITH ACCESSING CHILD PORN

BRACEBRIDGE — A 19-year-old resident here faces two pornography charges.

Provincial police said today that on Tuesday the Muskoka Crime Unit, the OPP’s child sexual exploitation unit and the Bracebridge detachment arrested and charged the Bracebridge man following a child pornography investigation.

They say that on April 14 officers from the OPP’s child sexual exploitation unit, the OPP technological crime unit and the OPP Detachment executed a search warrant at a Bracebridge residence.

They arrested and charged Conner Arkell, of Bracebridge.

He is charged with Possession of Child Pornography CC 163.1(4) and Accessing Child Pornography CC 163.1(4.1).

He was released from custody and is scheduled to appear on June 30, 2020 at the Ontario Court of Justice in Bracebridge.

The accused is to appear in court June 20 charged with two counts of child porn access, possession.
