60s WOMAN FIRST COVID-19 CASE IN BRACEBRIDGE

SIMCOE-MUSKOKA — Bracebridge has its first COVID-19 case reported by the health unit.

The female in her 60s is self-isolating after travel, says the Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit (SMDHU) on its webside today, April 16.

She is the 174th case reported by the SMDHU, and is Case #172

And she brings to 15 the total number for Muskoka alone.

Three others reported since April 7 include:

  • April 11: Male in his 70s from Lake of Bays — community-aquired — and who is self-isolating. Case #116
  • April 13: Male in his 60s from Gravenhurst, travel-related. Has since recovered. Cas #147
  • April 14: Female in her 60s from Muskoka Lakes, travel-related, self-isolating. Case #159
Muskoka’s cororavirus count as of today, April 16, is now up to 15.
