EVERYONE LOVES A PARADE — WITH SANTA AT THE END

Mark Clairmont | MuskokaTODAY.com

GRAVENHURST — Santa season is in full swing — and it’s not yet December.

Parades, concert and teas are weekend staples across Muskoka, getting everyone in the mood — as the snow comes and goes.

Gravenhurst was typical, this past Saturday, when the annual Chamber of Commerce put on its Santa Clause parade.

Under a perfect, warm, sunny blue sky floats stretched a dozen blocks, from the legion to Sawdust City and the Royal Bank.

And one of the largest crowds in years turned out to cheer on the hundreds of volunteers who put varying degrees of effort and tinsel into their trailers and costumes.

The result was one of festive good cheer and a few hours of diversionary delight.

Here’s another look at it, for those who may have sat this one out at home.

Enjoy!
