CLIMATE PROTESTS CONTINUE FRIDAYS IN MUSKOKA

Mark Clairmont | MuskokaTODAY.com

MUSKOKA — Greta Thunberg called them Fridays4Future.

Climate Action Muskoka calls them Climate Strike Fridays — in Bracebridge and Huntsville.

At Conservative MPP Norm Miller’s constituency office in Bracebridge.

And at the town hall in Huntsville.

That’s where demonstrators will be again tomorrow — for the third week in row — joined by other supporters like those from the Muskoka Power of Many.

They’re returning to keep up the pressure on governments to act now to fight climate change.

They will be there from 11:30 a.m. to about 1 p.m.

They encourage you to join them if you care about the environment; and they say let your federal election candidates know you care.

In what’s becoming a weekly protest, Climate Action Muskoka protesters will be back on the line again Friday, Oct. 11, and each Friday for the foreseeable future.
