The tables will be set for this lovely afternoon of viewing the Gravenhurst Horticultural Society’s annual summer show at the Gravenhurst Active Living Centre (forrmerly the Seniors’ Centre) on First Street north at Winewood Avenue.
There are hundreds of great plants you probably drive by each day and don’t notice. Here’s your chance to see them up close and to ask what they are and how they’re grown from the Hort experts.
Flower and vegetable and creative entries are judged in the morning by an Ontario Horticultural Society judge brought in from outside and the public is invited in the afternoon to see the winners.
Last year (2018) was the 70th anniversary of the GHS and there was a great cake. Can 2019 be more of the same for these great ladies and their green thumbs?
