LIFE-THREATENING INJURIES TO MAN IN BRACEBRIDGE SUNDAY

BRACEBRIDGE — Police are tight-lipped after a male was airlifted to hospital in Toronto with life-threatening injuries late Sunday afternoon following a 911 call.

A male is fighting for his life after police were called to Alice Street in Bracebridge late Sunday afternoon.

They say that on July 7, shortly before 6 p.m., provincial police and Muskoka Paramedic Services were dispatched to an address on Alice Street in Bracebridge.

The male was transported to the local hospital and subsequently airlifted to a Toronto area hospital with life threatening injuries.

Police will only say the circumstances surrounding his injuries are being investigated and further details will be released when they become available.

The investigation is ongoing with the assistance of the OPP Crime Unit, Forensic Identification Services (FIS) and the Regional Support Team (RST) under the direction of Det. Insp. Laura Houliston of the OPP Criminal Investigation Branch.
