Muskoka Drive-In in Gravenhurst will be showing the NBA Finals games between the Toronto Raptors and Golden State Warriors for Game 5 Monday, and if necessary, Games 6 and 7.

And it’s free.

They say they’ve received permission from Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment to show the Finals.

Muskoka Drive-In is located on Reay Rd., just one kilometre off Hwy. 11 at the north entrance to Gravenhurst.

The showings will be free and open to all ages. The drive-in is asking that attendees to donate non-perishable items for the food banks, but it is not mandatory for entry. Viewers have the option to sit in their car to watch or join others outside of the vehicles. There are only 250 car spaces, but walk-ins will also be allowed to join. The Snack Bar & BBQ will be open and no outside food or drink will be allowed. Gates open at 7 p.m. and attendance will be first come basis.

The Muskoka Drive-In is one of Canada’s oldest drive-ins and the original cement screen built on top of Canadian shield rock in 1952 will be the focus of the action for the finals, according to the release. The drive-in will also broadcast the games on their second screen so that fans will be surrounded by images of basketball.

Raptors fans will be lining up Monday night at the Muskoka Drive-In in Gravenhurst for the NBA Finals’ Game 5 when their team could win the championship at home following Friday’s Game 4 win in Oakland.
