ARMED ROBBERY ON BETHUNE DRIVE SUNDAY NIGHT

GRAVENHURST — A man armed with a knife forced an employee to turn over cash here Sunday night.

An armed robbery on Bethune Drive in Gravenhurst on Sunday had the suspect flee in a silver SUV.

Provincial police say that on May 19, at 8:30 p.m. an unknown male suspect went to the business on Bethune Drive N. and demanded cash from an employee, while brandishing a knife.

The suspect is described as a male about six feet tall with a medium build. He was wearing a black jacket and a grey hooded sweater.

The suspect left the area in a silver SUV.

The local OPP and the Muskoka Crime Unit are investigating a robbery which occurred in the evening of May 19th, 2019 and are asking for the public’s assistance.
