HUNTSVILLE — Big Band and dance fans are in for a treat Friday night at the Huntsville Legion.
The Muskoka Big Band lets you Swing Into Fall with a dance upstairs.
After a successful gig at the Bracebridge legion last spring, the band moves up the road to Huntsville.
Doors open at 7:30 p.m, with the downbeat at 8 p.m.
Band leader Neil Barlow has been rehearsing the local band the past two years out of the Utterson Community Hall, where band members are also part of the Muskoka Concert Band.
Friday, you’ll hear all the hits of the Big Band era, along with some by vocalist Carol Stueck.
So, if you want to get out and dance and hear a great band — or just enjoy the social outing as a concert — join them for night of nostalgia.
Proceeds go to the band’s youth and amateur initiatives.
