Third impaired driving charge this year for McLeod

GRAVENHURST — A third time is certain not to be the charm for a Gravenhurst man who faces yet another charge of impaired driving after being stopped today.

Randy McLeod faces his third impaired driving charge in 2018 after being stopped by police Tuesday morning at 8:30 a.m.

Randy McLeod, 49, faces his third impaired driving charge this year.

Police say an OPP officer who conducted a traffic stop on Phillip Street in Gravenhurst while on routine patrol in the town of Gravenhurst on Tuesday morning, June 19, 2018, at 8:30 a.m.

As a result of the investigation, the officer charged McLeod with the following offences:

Impaired Driving CC 253(1)(a)

Over 80 CC 253(1)(b)

Driving While Disqualified CC 259(4)

Fail to Comply with Recognizance CC 145(3)

Driving with Under Suspension HTA 53(1) X2

Police say these are the third set of impaired driving charges for McLeod in 2018.

He was to appear in the bail court in the Ontario Court of Justice in Bracebridge this afternoon.
