Good Samaritans replacing Kilworthy cemetery fencing

GRAVENHURST — A couple of Good Samaritans are taking on the task of replacing some fencing around the Kilworthy cemetery.

Bruce and Fred Schulz, whose relatives are buried in the pioneer community cemetery, have begun work.

The fencing was knocked down or hit by plows, says Betty Elizabeth Trish Graham, who has been watching with interest.

Bruce has the posts in.

And Monday morning at 9 a.m. he and brother Fred will begin wiring the posts together.

If you’re interested in helping out, join them at the end Kilworthy Road, past Sopher’s Landing.

A photo from the Kilworthy community history book “A Legacy Almost Lost” shows the pioneer cemetery.
