Bracebridge man charged with impaired driving after leaving licensed establishment

BRACEBRIDGE — Police were waiting for a driver who got behind the wheel after a night of drinking.

Police say officers were alerted to a possible impaired driver who had returned to pick his vehicle up from a parking lot at a licensed establishment on Muskoka Road 118 in Bracebridge, ON.

Officers located the vehicle shortly after and conducted a traffic stop.

As a result of their investigation, police arrested and charged 46-year-old John Schell, of Bracebridge, with Impaired Driving CC 253(1)(a) and Over 80 CC 253(1)(b).

He is to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Bracebridge on March 6, 2018 to answer to his charges.
