$250 to dedicate a seat at Huntsville arenas, Algonquin Centre

HUNTSVILLE — The Town of Huntsville and the Algonquin Theatre are excited to launch the new Municipal Seat Dedication Program for the Jack Bionda Arena, Don Lough Arena and the Algonquin Theatre.

The Seat Dedication Program is a wonderful new opportunity for community members to dedicate a seat to a loved one, recognize a family member or friend, support a team or celebrate a special occasion. Your seat dedication will be inscribed on a beautiful plaque and affixed to a seat in a facility of your choice.

“We are thrilled to be able to have this type of program in place,” said Lambe, “many life changing moments happen in our arenas and theatres, from first games, goals, to first performances and this program gives our community an opportunity to recognize the important members and moments in our lives.”

The cost to dedicate a seat in 2018 will be $250 per seat for any of the facilities. The seat dedication will be in effect for the lifespan of the chair, a minimum of 10 years.

Seat dedication is on a first come first serve basis until all seats are dedicated.

There are 155 seats available at the Algonquin Theatre, 443 seats at the Jack Bionda Arena and 1,354 seats available at the Don Lough Arena.

Funds collected from the dedication program will be placed into reserves for the Algonquin Theatre and Sports Memorabilia.
