BRACEBRIDGE — Another four young people faces charges after police responded to a break and enter in progress here late yesterday afternoon.

On Thursday, September 17, at 5:15 p.m., officers were dispatched to the B&E underway at a building on McMurray Street near Quebec Street in Bracebridge.

The caller reported hearing items being broken and windows smashed.

Officers got there and found four young people inside the building.

As a result of their investigation they charged all of them.

Three of the youth aged — 14, 15 and 16 years old — were from Bracebridge, and one — 16-year-old from Huntsville —have each been charged with break and enter and mischief.

They are to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice — Youth Court —n Bracebridge on November 5, 2026.

Their identities are protected under provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act (YCJA).

It’s the third set of charges against teen this week in Bracebridge and Gravenhurst.
