8 VEHICLES HAVE WINDOWS SMASHED IN OVERNIGHT ROCK ATTACKS ACROSS GRAVENHURST TODAY FROM PERSON(S) IN DARK PICK-UP TRUCK

GRAVENHURST — A two-hour overnight spree of vandalism acts just past midnight this morning left multiple auto owners with broken vehicle windows along five core streets north and south here.

Police began investigating after receiving complaints this morning about the acts they are only describing as “mischief.”

The eight separate parked vehicles were damaged “after rocks were thrown from a moving vehicle resulting in smashed windows,” they say, which were parked on:

First Street South,
Winewood Avenue West,
Muskoka Road South,
Main Street,
And Oriole Crescent

Police are asking residents in those areas to check any home surveillance footage, the suspect were operating a dark pickup truck between 1 and 3 a.m.
