2 PEOPLE IN HOSPITAL WEDNESDAY AFTER SUVS COLLIDE ON HWY. 60 WEST IN HUNTSVILLE

HUNTSVILLE Two people were taken to hospital — one with life-threatening injuries — after a pair of SUVs collided early last evening on Hwy. 60 in west Huntsville.

Emergency services responded to what police call a serious motor vehicle accident at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 6, near Fairyview Drive.

Police say a 40-year-old male driver was transported to a Toronto area trauma center with life-threatening injuries and a 32-year-old female driver was taken to hospital in Huntsville with minor injuries.

The OPP Traffic Incident Management and Enforcement (TIME) team assisted with the detachment investigation. The road was re-opened a few hours later.
