EARLY MORNING ASSAULT AT RESTAURANT LEADS TO CHARGES
GRAVENHURST — An early morning altercation at a restaurant has led to several charges against a local man Saturday who was also charged recently with throwing sanitizer.
Police were called to the restaurant at 6:15 a.m. July 25 for disturbance on Muskoka Road South.
They say a man who was previously issued a trespass notice for the business attempted to enter and was asked to leave, say police, who allege he responded by smashing a window and assaulting a patron before fleeing on foot.
Officers located the man a short time later and arrested and charged 30-year-old Travis Gostick with Assault with a Weapon CC 267(a), Assault CC 266, Mischief CC 430(1)(a), Possession of Schedule I (Cocaine) CDSA 4(1) and Fail to Comply with Probation CC 733.1(1).
He is to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Bracebridge on July 28, 2020 for a bail hearing.
Gostick was also charged with assault two weeks ago after he was accused of throwing sanitizer at the Fabricare Cleaning Centre in Gravenhurst.

This guy has some real issues. Needs help. And shouldn’t be allowed to roam around town. Someone is going to get hurt.
