TERRY FOX RUN RAISES $11,663 IN GRAVENHURST SUNDAY

GRAVENHURST — “Curious about our final numbers?”

That’s organizers of the 39th annual Terry Fox Run in Gravenhurst yesterday.

“Well, here they are as of 6:30 p.m.” Sept. 15m , just over eight hours after the first of almost 100 runners and walkers trekked 10K out along Muskoka Beach Road to Taboo Resort and back.

“This year we had 93 participants, who raised a total of $11,663,” they posted on their Facebook page last night/

“Great number and ever better company.

“Thank you Gravenhurst and surrounding area for your continued support — we would never be able to continue this without all of you.”

Terry Fox fundraisers young and old helped raise $11,663 Sunday morning at the 39th annual event in Gravenhurst.
