KYUNG-A LEE AND RITA ARENDZ COMBINE PIANO AND TENOR HORN TALENTS IN AN INTIMATE CLASSICAL CONCERT SAT. NOV. 7 AT 2 P.M., AT TRINITY UNITED CHURCH IN GRAVENHURST
GRAVENHURST — Piano and tenor horn — an excitingly unique duo performing here Saturday afternoon — features two exquisite musical performers coming together in an intimate concert that sings and soars.
Master pianist Kyung-A Lee, of Huntsville, is undoubtedly well known in Muskoka with her incredible virtuoso skills beyond compare locally and afar.
Rita Arendz, is less recognized, though she has shared her amazing sounding tenor horn talents throughout the district with several other smaller groups. And is a perfect musical match.
On November 7, at 2 p.m., they are alone together for what promises to be a truly gorgeous 90-minute sharing of moods and music, which will be felt close and personal and will vibrate to the upper balcony reaches of Trinity United Church in Gravenhurst.
As they share features pieces from several classical composers, including Beethoven, Debussy, Rachmaninoff, Chopin, Lavallée and more.
With a combined sound as you’ve never heard while they weave the piano and tenor horn notes into a tapestry beautifully befitting the altar centrepiece that will act as their backdrop.
Tickets are available at the door or by e-transfer to trinityunitedgravenhurst@gmail.com for $20.
