GRAVENHURST  — As every photographer with a cellphone — or still and SLR — knows, sunrise and sunset shots are holy grails.

And each solstice it’s been a goal of this “photog” to catch those moments.

Here’s a couple recent ones as we remember the going up and going down as the blazes stretches up from Gull Lake on Brock Street, crosses the main street and lands at the end of Bay Street at the Muskoka Wharf beside the Segwun and descends gently behind Greavette Island to end another marvellous Muskoka day.
