GRAVENHURST — An Emsdale woman was arrested and charged yesterday afternoon in Bracebridge with theft from the Gravenhurst LCBO by using “technology,“ which also led police to locate the suspect where they also charged him with impaired driving.
They say that on Tuesday, June 16, at 1:20 p.m., officers responded to a report of a theft at the LCBO on Edward Street in Gravenhurst.
And that with the use of “technology,” were able to track the suspect to a parking lot in Bracebridge.
Officers placed the suspect under arrest and the subsequent investigation revealed that she may have stolen goods from other retail locations in Gravenhurst and Bracebridge.
Furthermore, officers became concerned about her alleged impairment and entered into an impaired driving investigation.
As a result, police charged 41- year-old Natasha Nunziato, of Emsdale, with:
- Operation while Impaired (drug)
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime (2 counts)
- Theft Under $5,000 (2 counts)
Nunziato is to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Bracebridge on August 4, 2026.
