DITCHED DRIVER FACES DRUG, ALCOHOL IMPAIRED DRIVING CHARGES LAST NIGHT ON HWY. 169 IN WEST GRAVENHURST

GRAVENHURST — A late night single-vehicle collision Tuesday night has landed a Bracebridge woman with four drug and alcohol charges, says the Bracebridge detachment of the OPP.

On June 9, at 10 p.m., officers responded to a report of a vehicle going off the road into a ditch on Muskoka Road 169 near Charles Road in Gravenhurst.

Officers arrived and soon arrested and charged 31-year-old Ana Morelos-Caspeta, of Bracebridge, with:

  • Operation while impaired
  • Over 80
  • Have care or control of vehicle with cannabis readily available
  • Driving motor vehicle with liquor readily available.

Morelos-Caspeta is to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice on July 21, 2026.

A vehicle that went off the road and came to a stop in a ditch on Hwy. 169 near Charles Road Tuesday led to a woman, 31, from Bracebridge being charged with impaired driving.
