SOBEYS THEFT SUSPECT SOUGHT AFTER MORE THAN $200 IN GOODS STOLEN AT GRAVENHURST GROCER THURSDAY

GRAVENHURST — A mid-afternoon theft late last week has police asking the public if they recognize a suspect and his vehicle.

Saturday, February 28, officers began an investigation into a theft the previous Thursday, February 2 at 3:10 p.m.

The suspect entered a grocery store located on Edward Street in Gravenhurst and stole a large quantity of items valued at more than $200.

He was wearing blue jeans, black shoes, a black jacket — which he removed once inside the store — and a black ball cap.

He then left in a small, grey, four-door sedan.
